On Tuesday 2nd December 2014, wholeSEM's Co-Investigator Professor Goran Strbac gave evidence to the House of Lords Select Committee on Science and Technology. As part of an inquiry examining the resilience of the electricity system, Professor Strbac offered expert advice on storage, interconnection and demand side response.

The Committee aims to report to the House, with recommendations, before the end of the Parliament.

As part of the wholeSEM project, Professor Strbac along with colleagues at Imperial College London are developing whole energy vector system models, to link highly detailed spatial and temporal representations to long term infrastructure investments, together with alternate decision making model formulations.
