Professor John Loughhead Chief Scientific Adviser at the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy has been announced as keynote speaker for the wholeSEM Annual Conference 2017.

The 4th Annual Conference The Past, Present and Future of Energy Modelling is taking place on Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th of July 2017 at M by Moncalm in London.

wholeSEM holds an Annual Conference once a year to bring together key stakeholders within the energy modelling community. 

Previous conferences have been attended by a diverse mix of experts from government, think-tanks, consultancy, academia, industry and consumers of model outputs. The annual conferences are a chance to bring the modelling community together and showcase some of the excellent work that has been done over the year. PhD students are also invited to participate in a poster competition and deliver insights from their work.
